Tuition and Enrollment
Infants' Room (cohort of children ages 3 months to 7 months in August 2024)
Seedlings Playschool will be opening an Infants Room in August of 2024, with a small cohort of four infants (ages 3-7 months at that time). We will be a RIE-inspired program, focused on respectful care for infants, in a small cohort environment. Please fill out the following form if you would like to be placed on the waitlist for our Infants Room. Tours for the Infants Room will be scheduled in Fall of 2023.

Tuition Rates for Infants' Room (3 months-23 months):
5 days per week: $2300/month
3 days per week: $1800/month
2 days per week: $1450/month
Included in tuition is:
homemade meals, snacks, and infant formula (if desired) (we participate in the USDA food program)
diapers and wipes
art materials and other consumable play materials
There is a one-time enrollment fee of $300 per child to confirm your child’s spot, and a refundable deposit.
Tuition is subject to change, with 3 months notice.
Calendar and Hours
Seedlings is open from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. We are a year round program. We take off one week in the Spring, one week in the Summer, a few days around Thanksgiving, and a little over a week in the Winter, as well as single-day holidays here and there. We try to align our breaks with those of PPS for the convenience of parents with older children. Check out the calendar below for all our closure dates. We follow Portland Public School's inclement weather closures.

We are a pro-vaccination community. Children are required to have all standard vaccinations. Staff, parents, and children are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

5 days per week: $1510/month
3 days per week: $1070/month
2 days per week: $850/month

sunscreen in the summer and the use of our class set of rainsuits for keeping dry in the winter

We believe in child-led toilet learning, and we do not require children to be able to use the toilet at any specific age.
We have a maximum of 10 children per day, and 2-3 teachers at school each day.
